Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026. ClipForge is operated by Jesse Schuilenklopper, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
What we collect
Account data: your email address and sign-in details. Saved work: clip titles, captions, hashtags, trim points and posting schedules you choose to save. Payment data: processed entirely by Paddle (merchant of record); we never see or store your card details, only your subscription status.
Your media files
Video and photo editing happens in your browser on your own device. Your raw media files are not uploaded to our servers unless a feature explicitly says so.
How we use data
To provide the service (accounts, saved clips, scheduling), to process subscriptions and trials, to prevent abuse, and to respond to support requests. We do not sell your data and do not show advertising.
Third parties
We rely on: Paddle (payments and invoicing), Google (sign-in and, if you connect it, YouTube uploads), and Lovable Cloud (hosting and database). Each processes data under its own privacy terms. When you post to YouTube, TikTok or Instagram, their own policies apply.
Retention and your rights
We keep your data while your account is active. Under the GDPR you may request access, correction, export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing us. Deleting your account removes your saved clips and schedules.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted per account. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
